Hey - what areas do you cover & what is your style?

Northern Ireland, Ireland & beyond - I love to travel & explore new places. (travel expenses are included within 50 miles of the Limavady area)

What exactly is lifestyle/documentary photography?

Shooting this way aims to capture precious real life stories in a creative way. My absolute favourite thing to shoot is genuine unscripted moments, showing the story of you with as little meddling as possible. My aim is to document natural images as much as I can & I love a good detail shot. Kids get to play, pick flowers, have piggy rides and we get to laugh and enjoy it. Sometimes the best photos can happen in between the poses, creating the genuine expressions people often treasure most.

↟Location Location Location!↟

Like I said here I love natural light. Therefore sessions take place on location or at home. Why not choose somewhere that means something to you: this could be the beach, park, forest, mountains or typically anywhere with a natural environment to urban areas such as city, cafe or venue. For me, there's nothing better than a natural backdrop, scenic or abode. Let's get creative with it!

Sometimes families feel their most comfortable at home where they can relax in their own space, which is especially great for newborns & capturing those first precious moments as discreetly as possible.

But what if it rains!?

With the weather constantly changing here we can sometimes see four seasons in one day! Luckily past shoots have shown light rain not to be visible in most images. We can always embrace the irish weather with umbrellas, layers & wellies - these can be great props & I always offer the option of shooting half your session indoor at home, (equipped with speedlites) then shooting in between showers if it allows. Alternatively, I will always offer to reschedule for the next available date.

..And what should we wear?

Clothing-wise, simply whatever you feel most comfortable in or most suitable for your surroundings. Keeping in mind loud graphics or logos are often distracting and best to be avoided. Earthy tones work particularly well for outdoor shoots in nature.

Are you insured?

Yes! I have Public Liability insurance in place & my lovely gear is covered too.

So how do i receive my final images!?

One of the most exciting parts of the process for me is preparing & delivering your images. Each image is individually edited within Lightroom &/or Photoshop based on my own creative judgement, removing any obvious distractions if needed.

You will receive your final images through my online password protected proofing site, where the high resolution files are available for download or to purchase as digital files or prints, depending on your package. Story book albums are also available.
