FAQ - WEDDINGS

Thank you for considering me as your wedding photographer! It truly is an honour to document weddings. To be invited into your home on such a special day and spend that time with your loved ones i couldn’t ask for anything better.

↟ My approach to weddings & style of photography

Just like my lifestyle FAQ I approach weddings in the same manner: with as little meddling as possible, relaxed, capturing real moments from real weddings. My aim is to be as non-obtrusive as I can letting your day unfold as it happens, focusing on natural, creative & documentary shots for the entire day.

I like to deliver colourful edits which you can follow from my instagram below. Some of the nicest comments from couples is when they get to reminisce over the moments and details they might have missed out on during the day and have memories of loved ones to hold onto and cherish.

Read here for my storytelling approach to shooting - Promise it's short & sweet!

Do you shoot family formals on the day?

In short - Yes! Although these shots are not often shown in my portfolio they are of upmost importance on a wedding day. We would aim to take these straight after your ceremony to make sure we have everyone in one place to capture those images of you and your favourite people.

Just like the bride & groom shots, these don’t have to be formal, stiff poses. With my style being documentary I aim to get the most out of those candid shots of you & your guests having a great day. For the couple portraits, I whisk you away after bridal party shots, for an extra 15 minutes to give you a breather and some relaxed shots as a newly married couple.

Are you insured?

And what can we do with our wedding images?

Yes! I have full Public Liability & professional indemnity insurance in place & my lovely gear is covered too.

Copyright and client usage is all laid out in the pre-wedding contract upon booking. Images for clients are for personal use only. This doesn’t include commercial use, so if wedding vendors would like to use your images for advertising or promotional material I ask that you give them my email address and I can help from there. :-)

Do you bring a second shooter or come solo?

A second shooter is an optional extra for you, allowing you to have coverage for groom prep and another set of eyes for the day.

I’m incredibly lucky to be part of a close network of creative photographers who help each other out if anything arises, and in turn I do a lot of second shooting for others.
